Work in progress

Building Maiks.yt, in public.

This is the working map for the production website. It separates what is usable now from what is being designed and what is still waiting, so unfinished pages never need to pretend they are complete.

Right now

Public pages connected to real data

The schedule, project pages, and game library now use the existing backend instead of visual fixtures. Empty pages stay honest, and published records or linked plans will appear automatically as Michael adds them.

Production page-by-page pass in progress

Now available

The first About structure is in place

  1. 01

    Who I am now

A mostly text-led introduction to Michael, the streams, and why this platform exists.

    First draft
  2. 02

    Medical history

General health context, the effect on streaming, and the approved temporary MRI image.

    First draft
  3. 03

    Full history

A long vertical timeline with birth, completed birthdays, privacy-trimmed residence records, and the first streaming event.

Public roadmap

What people will see and use

These are the pages and experiences visitors may eventually use. Working destinations open normally; unfinished destinations open a focused plan that uses this same roadmap data.

Homepage

The first production design is live as the new front door, with writing and imagery still open to revision.

Building now

About Michael

Three pages: who Michael is now, an open medical history, and a full vertical life timeline including the difficult parts.

Partial

Stream schedule

Upcoming streams, changes and cancellations, local times, games, projects, and the reason behind schedule changes.

Partial

Projects and public updates

Project categories, milestones, items, blockers, updates, archives, and clear separation between plans and completed work.

Partial

Creator links and open feeds

A live Linktree-style hub now collects official channels, community entry points, public pages, account access, and the open RSS feed.

Usable now

Game library and play plans

The live public library, reviewed visitor suggestions, and schedule-linked play plans are usable now. Published game records, richer gifted-game history, and provider/store links are still being filled in.

Usable now

Community participation

The public participation guide and shared rules are usable now. Optional accounts, visible warning and appeal records, ranks, and consistent provider enforcement remain in progress.

Partial

Profiles, linked accounts, and recognition

Privacy-controlled profiles, linked Twitch, YouTube, Discord and gaming identities, verified game names, perks, and optional supporter recognition.

Building now

Posts, recaps, and announcements

A backend-backed public archive and RSS feed now support real published posts, recaps, and announcements. Example records stay outside production; manual publishing and selected social syndication remain in progress.

Partial

Channel and hobby landing pages

Distinct entry pages for Minecraft, other games, technology, AI, outdoors, and future channels while keeping one shared platform.

Later

Stream-safe music participation

Viewer suggestions and voting from an approved catalog, with Michael retaining full playback, safety, and OBS control.

Later

Live chat and website-to-stream interactions

Unified public chat presentation, stream bot commands, approved website actions, profile recognition, optional notifications, and a later free website TTS interaction with visibility controls.

Planned

Transparent support and goals

Donation goals, project allocation, fees, changes, refunds or redirection, public spending context, and support history without dark patterns.

Planned

Affiliates, products, and wishlists

Clearly disclosed affiliate links, recommendation status, product price history, project-item links, and selected wishlist integrations.

Later

Sponsors and advertising transparency

Clearly labelled sponsor spots, campaign context, basic delivery reporting, and a visible distinction between advertising, affiliates, recommendations, and products Michael actually uses.

Later

Privacy, legal, and account controls

Plain-language analytics boundaries, retention rules, account deletion, required policies, disclosures, and exportable personal data controls.

Partial

English and Dutch

English remains the default while the structure stays ready for Dutch UI and translated public content.

Partial

A useful promise

An unfinished page should still explain itself.

Planned destinations now keep their final URL and show a compact description of what will be built there. Each one links back to the matching item in this full progress map.
